Basic structure of events

Intention of event:

We want people to leave feeling deeply settled in a body that has been heard.

When designing experience consider…

  • How can we speak to people’s animal bodies?

  • How can we help people strengthen their sense of self among others through owning their emotions and preferences, discernment, following their intuition?

  • How can we spiritually connect people to land?

    • Present with emotions connecting to land.

    • “None of us will be holding the emotional density of this evening. The land will. So let’s say hello to the ground.” How can I offer thanks?

  • What can change the nature of a man?

    • Negative space:

      • space for integration during event

      • tools for integration to practice later

2-3 of Jill’s songs providing the foundation/ structure of the event

Sing each song twice

  1. Sit, watch, feel

  2. Move your body, more inward

    1. If you don’t like the message and don’t want to absorb any of its message, don’t open to it. Don’t move with it. Notice where you have an aversion. Use this awareness of your preference as an opportunity to know yourself better. And just because someone is in front of an audience or up on a stage, doesn’t mean that they know what’s best for you or even have your best interest in mind. I want you all to leave here feeling empowered by your own autonomy and ability to discern.

    2. Say it does resonate with you and you want to embody its information, but to take in the full depth of the song would be overwhelming. Try letting in a few particles. Remember, the goal is to leave here feeling clear and grounded because we’re respecting our capacities. You can always reference a recording of this song on my website if you’d like to continue a relationship with it.

Embodied circling

  • The role of circling

    • Standing and speaking with whole body, from whole body

    • Hearing that/ seeing that, my body wants to…

Space for integration during the event. Tools for integration after. What practices can they take away with them?

  • Sit or move freely in silence or sounding.

End with time for people to chat freely and network
