A Soul Portrait Journey

The following photos are progress shots of a single painting, Sophia’s soul portrait.
Many more stages were recorded and also accompanied by dialogue, poetry, and/or song.
Sophia’s deep listening and communication with me throughout the process
greatly contributed to the depth of what I was able to create.

Sometimes we hear from other people or spirits in your life.

In this case, Grandma wanted to be painted first.

The soul portrait process involves an incredible amount of deconstruction. Clearing out old ways of being, making space for the next message.

We return to the ocean of possibilities.

We visit shadow selves.

We hear from aspects floating in your field, but not yet embodied.

We locate feelings like “defeat”.

And through all of this,
you are able to conduct more life force…

And return to the simplest elements of your soul.

Hear about Sophia’s experience of the process here.
